I Survived One Year In Utah

SO it was a year ago today that Cody and I moved to Logan, Utah. I never really thought I would survive a year here. I am proud to say that I survived just fine. Its been a learning and growing experience living away from my family. I always did a lot with my family. I would spend holidays with them or just go hang out. I had it pretty easy all my family was about less then 15 minutes away so I saw them a lot. I saw both sisters every sunday at church. Yes all 3 of us were in the same ward. I loved it, I saw my 3 nieces every sunday. Now I miss seeing them all the time. I have to say what I miss most is spending holidays with my family. 4th of July has always been my favorite holiday. It meant going to Grandma's house for a BBQ and home made ice cream and later in the evening fire works. Yesterday I kept that tradition going, we BBQ'd and I made home made Ice Cream. We didn't do fireworks but it meant a lot to me to have the home made ice cream. Just because i'm not living in Washington doesn't mean I can't keep my family traditions going strong. I am happy we moved to Utah. So heres to One year in Logan, Utah and who knows how many more!!!

Wow! I'm sure it was so hard for you to move away from everything you knew and loved, but you've done well! I'm especially proud of you for keeping your traditions alive!
